Compare the same basket, not four homepages
Build one test order with the exact marketplace, item count and destination you expect to use. Record fee charging unit, payment/funding cost, Japan domestic delivery, storage, packing, optional inspection, auction tooling and the outbound-carrier stage. A service can look inexpensive on one field and become more costly on another, so the comparison only works when the basket is held constant.
Current published fee signals
These are service-level charging signals, not complete delivered-price quotes.
Where the ranking can reverse
A single low-cost item emphasizes the purchase fee. A ten-seller haul emphasizes per-item or per-request charging and storage. A scale figure can make dimensional freight dominate. An auction purchase makes bidding controls and cutoff rules important. Run at least those distinct scenarios before declaring one service “best.”
A reproducible comparison worksheet
Replace estimates with actual charges as the order progresses. Do not compare an early estimate from one service with a final packed quote from another.
- source item price and seller/store
- Japan domestic delivery
- proxy fee and its charging unit
- payment or deposit fee
- storage and consolidation assumption
- packing or inspection options
- packed international freight
- import collection or brokerage when applicable
Primary fee sources
Fee facts below were reviewed August 21, 2026. Re-check the linked official page before payment because pricing and included services can change.
- Buyee Cart official fee page — ¥500 purchase fee per order.
- ZenMarket official fee page — ¥300–800 per item depending on source; funds-deposit fee from 1%.
- Neokyo official fee page — ¥350 per purchase request; packing starts at ¥500.
- Doorzo official fee page — ¥50–300 proxy purchase fee per item.
Four scenarios make the table actionable
Run a single retail SKU, a five-seller Mercari basket, one Yahoo auction and one large boxed collectible. Those scenarios isolate purchase-fee scaling, seller count, auction tooling and dimensional freight. If one service remains strong across the scenarios you actually use, that is more meaningful than an overall score built from features you never need.
Document what was not comparable
Some services may bundle a feature another service prices separately, or may not support the same source at all. Mark those rows “not comparable” instead of forcing a numeric score. A transparent missing value is better than a false precision that makes two different workflows look equivalent.
