JPS helps overseas buyers purchase eligible items from Japan, receive them at a warehouse in Japan, store and consolidate orders, and arrange international shipping.

Getting started: Do I need to speak Japanese?
No.
However, the original Japanese listing still matters because:

Purchases: What should I check before authorizing an order?
Confirm:
Once JPS places the order, cancellation may be difficult or impossible.

Purchases: What happens if the listing sells out?
If the exact listing is no longer available, JPS should not silently substitute another seller’s item.
A materially different listing requires a new customer decision.

After the free period, additional storage fees apply according to the current JPS size tiers.

Yes.
Eligible orders can be combined without a separate consolidation fee.

Yes.

Warehouse: Does JPS authenticate or fully inspect every item?
No.
Basic receiving check is included.
Detailed inspection, testing, and professional authentication are not included in the standard service.

Packing: What if I want a prepared parcel opened again?
Parcel unpacking:

If the parcel is repacked or split, a new packing fee applies.
International shipping: How is international shipping charged?
JPS charges:

The final rate depends on:

International shipping: Is shipping protection included?
Carrier shipping protection applies according to the selected carrier's terms.
JPS assists with eligible carrier claims.
This is not separate JPS insurance.
Auctions: How does maximum bidding work?
Set the highest amount you are willing to pay.
JPS participates in the auction process up to the authorized maximum.
The final winning price can be lower than your maximum.
Auctions: Can the auction end time change?
Yes.
Some auctions use automatic extension.
Always check the source listing and the JPS instruction cutoff.
Cancellations and returns: Can I cancel after JPS buys the item?
Often not.
Seller and marketplace rules control whether cancellation or return is possible.
Verify the item before authorizing purchase.

Contact JPS as soon as possible while the item is still in Japan.
Compare the warehouse item with the original seller listing before international forwarding.
