Before you buy
- Compare waist, inseam, rise, chest width and garment length where relevant. A tagged size does not establish a consistent fit.
- Review fading, stains, repairs and alterations. Distressed appearance alone does not tell you whether wear is intentional or later damage.
- Check labels, material, product details and seller photos. JPS does not authenticate clothing from a brand tag or guarantee seller claims.
Measurements matter more than a familiar size label
For denim, compare the listed waist, rise and inseam with a garment you own. For jackets, look for chest width, shoulder width and length. Check whether measurements were taken flat and whether the item has been hemmed or altered.
Use the exact garment name, material and label photos to compare listings. Search results may include several different cuts or releases under the same brand name.
Separate design details from condition claims
A seller may describe a piece as distressed, vintage or archive. Compare the actual photos and condition notes for fading, frayed areas, repairs, stains and changes made after purchase. Ask for clarification when intentional finishing and later damage are hard to distinguish.
Original tags and packaging can help identify a piece, but they are not independent proof of authenticity. Review return limits before committing to a high-value resale garment.
From listing to international delivery
Open a matching listing, review the original description and seller details, then add an eligible item to your JPS cart and review the confirmed costs.
After purchase and arrival at the Japan warehouse, request packing and choose an available international shipping method. Availability, purchase eligibility and shipping depend on the item and destination.
