Overview
Package forwarding is the warehouse-and-shipping part of buying from Japan.
The basic flow is:
Japan delivery → JPS warehouse → storage → consolidation → packing → international shipping

What happens when a parcel arrives
JPS records the warehouse arrival and performs a basic receiving check.
The basic check confirms the shipment broadly matches the expected order.
It is not professional authentication, electronics testing, expert grading, or detailed accessory verification.
Free storage
JPS provides:
60 days free warehouse storage
Photos
Optional warehouse photos cost:
¥500/item
Photos can help confirm visible condition before international forwarding.
Consolidation
Eligible purchases can be combined for:
¥0 consolidation fee
The final outbound parcel still requires packing.
Packing
International parcel packing starts from:
¥500 per parcel
Reopening an already prepared parcel
If a prepared parcel must be opened again:
Parcel unpacking: ¥1,000
If the parcel is then repacked or split, a new packing fee applies.
International shipping
JPS charges:
Actual carrier rate — no JPS markup
Available options depend on destination, weight, dimensions, contents, and carrier restrictions.
Carrier shipping protection
Carrier shipping protection applies according to the selected carrier’s terms.
JPS assists with eligible carrier claims.
JPS does not present this as separate JPS-owned insurance.
Forwarding restrictions
Check before purchase when the item contains batteries, liquids, aerosols, alcohol, perfume, compressed gas, or restricted chemicals.
A domestic Japanese delivery does not guarantee international forwarding eligibility.
