Overview
Amazon Japan is not part of the standard JPS marketplace list.
Before using JPS, first check whether the exact Amazon.co.jp seller offer can ship directly to your destination.
If direct shipping does not work, an eligible order may be handled through JPS Buy by URL.
1. Check the exact seller offer
Amazon Japan product pages can show several sellers for the same item.
Confirm:
Do not rely only on the main product page title.
- seller
- Ships From / fulfillment party
- product variation
- quantity
- new or used condition
- item price
- Japan domestic shipping
- delivery estimate
2. Compare direct international shipping first
If the exact offer ships directly to your country at an acceptable cost, direct checkout may be simpler.
Use JPS only when it solves a real problem, such as:
- Japan-only delivery
- Japanese-address requirement
- consolidation with other Japan purchases
3. Use Buy by URL when eligible
If direct shipping is unavailable, submit the exact Amazon Japan URL through JPS Buy by URL.
JPS should confirm whether the specific order can be handled before purchase.
Do not assume every Amazon Japan listing is eligible.
4. Used listings need seller-specific review
For used goods, check the seller condition note carefully.
Look for:
A broad condition grade such as “Very Good” may not be enough for a collector.
- original box
- manual
- charger
- cable
- bonus items
- obi
- missing accessories
5. Check electronics compatibility
Before buying Japan-market electronics, confirm:
- voltage
- plug type
- cellular/wireless compatibility
- menu language
- region restrictions
- warranty region
- battery configuration
6. JPS purchase-stage costs
For an eligible order:
International shipping is paid later.
- item price
- actual Japan domestic shipping
- ¥300 JPS proxy fee per purchase request
7. Warehouse and shipping
After warehouse arrival:
Carrier shipping protection applies according to carrier terms.
- 60 days free storage
- basic receiving check included
- item photos ¥500/item
- free consolidation
- packing from ¥500
- actual carrier international shipping
- no JPS shipping markup
