Accented with a high proportion of Petit Verdot, the Château is located in the village of Begadan in the northern Médoc, 60 km northwest of Bordeaux. The vineyards are located 3 km from the Gironde River, benefiting from the river's favorable influence. Covering an area of 21 hectares, the topsoil is gravel and the subsoil is clay-limestone. The average vine age is 23 years. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected on a sorting table. Each parcel is fermented in concrete and stainless steel tanks, with the temperature controlled at 24-26°C. It is then aged for 14-18 months in barriques (40% new, some American oak). Its deep red color has a purple hue. It offers spicy berry notes with hints of ripe Merlot (raisins), and just the right amount of oak. It has powerful, round, and ripe tannins.
