Ian McCorrick, one of the founders of Silent Pool Distillery, had a father who worked for Pan Am (Pan American World Airways) for 30 years, a company that had a major impact on the development of the global aviation industry. This lemon-scented London dry gin was inspired by the 1960s, when Pan Am was at its height, and was created by studying gin recipes from that era.
