Founded in 1950, Parla initially sold its wines to Northern Italy, much like other wine producers. Parla Millelucci Nuragus is a dry white wine with an excellent balance of fruit and acidity, produced by Parla, a family-run winery in Sardinia that has been in business for four generations. This wine is made from grapes with an average age of 45 years, grown in the clay-limestone soils of the Is Clavilis and Saxassa vineyards. The harvested grapes are soft-pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is lightly clarified and then aged in stainless steel tanks for several months before bottling. The name Milleluci means "thousands of lights." Tasting Notes: A light straw color with a greenish tint. The wine has a rich, persistent, delicate fruit aroma and a very fresh impression with vegetal nuances.
