There are five types, D1 to D5, with higher numbers corresponding to higher image quality. [Component Terminal] A component terminal is an analog video terminal. It separates the color signal into Pb (Cb) and Pr (Cr), and transmits the luminance (Y) and three other signals separately. Because component terminals use three cables (red, blue, and green) for video alone, there is less signal interference, resulting in better image quality than composite or S-Terminal terminals.
