Cheapest means lowest delivered cost for one defined basket
The purchase fee is only one row. A fair calculation also includes Japan domestic delivery, payment/funding cost, warehouse options, packing, international freight and import handling. Define the item count, sources and destination before comparing services.
Run three cost shapes
Test one inexpensive fixed-price item, five small items from different sellers, and one bulky collectible. The first reveals minimum service charges, the second exposes per-item or per-request scaling, and the third shows when dimensional shipping overwhelms fee differences.
Use current fee signals as inputs, not conclusions
Doorzo currently publishes ¥50–300 per item; Neokyo publishes ¥350 per purchase request; Buyee Cart publishes ¥500 per order; ZenMarket publishes ¥300–800 per item depending on source plus a deposit fee from 1%. Feed the applicable number into the same worksheet, then add the later cost layers.
What not to call “free”
Included storage, consolidation or inspection can have conditions, and outbound freight is never created by the headline proxy fee. Label waived, bundled and optional services separately so a buyer can reproduce why one basket is cheaper.

Example: a lower fee can lose after shipping
Suppose Service A is ¥300 cheaper on purchase fees but creates a larger packed carton or requires a paid option you need for a fragile item. If that adds ¥1,500 to later handling or freight, Service A was never the cheaper delivered choice. Keep each charge visible so the crossover is obvious.
Compare in your payment currency too
A yen-denominated fee can be small relative to card FX spread, deposit charges or payment-provider conversion. Record the effective home-currency amount that actually leaves your account rather than comparing only the advertised yen fee.
